Protection and Social Integration of Refugees and Migrants in Brazil
The Regional Workshop “Protection and social integration of refugees and migrants in Brazil: instruments, rights and challenges”, held on September 12, 2023 in Brasília, Brazil, aimed to discuss research about Brazilian responses to the recent inflows of migrants and refugees, especially the research carried out within the Asile Project. Furthermore, the workshop brought together actors involved in migration policies, academics, migrants and refugees to discuss the challenges to expand access to rights and social inclusion of refugees and migrants in Brazil.
The meeting started with a video Keynote Speech by Felipe GONZÁLEZ MORALES (Special Rapporteur on the human rights of migrants)
